Hi Dory,

My wife and I are two of Dom's friends that you've never met.

We met Dom in Bangladesh in the early 1990's, and over the next 3 years or so had many great times with him often running on the hash, playing touch rugby, drinking beers, and generally talking rubbish about anything, but especially Aus v England cricket & rugby and any other sport.

After leaving Dhaka, Dom visited us a number of times over the years here in Melbourne and we met up for the world inter hashes in NZ in 1994 and then Hobart in 2000. He also memorably toured Aus when England won the Rugby World Cup (damm that Jonny Wilkinson!) in 2003 ... I remember Dom calling me as he was walking out of he stadium in Sydney after the final, he was one happy man! We were then lucky enough to catch up with Dom in 2011 up in the Lake District when we visited England with our kids.

He was a great bloke will be missed by many all over the world.
