Classmates at Royal Hospital School

Created by Julian 8 years ago
Dom was one of 120 boys who started at Royal Hospital School, and I was lucky enough to be in his class. Dom stood out not solely due to his strength and size, more so because even at such a young age he had all the characteristics of a true gentleman. Everybody liked him, his cracking sense of humour, one felt one could trust him in every respect, the kind of mate you felt could trust your life with, in the classroom, on the field, or indeed anywhere. He could make an entire room collapse with laughter without even meaning to, as well as intentionally. I never saw him display anything other than friendliness with all, he had a huge heart, and despite 3 TIAs and MS, I have always remembered him.....I struggle to even recognise myself in school photographs, but would have easily spotted Dom in a crowded room. See you on the other side of the rainbow Dom, see ya...Julz Saunders
