I met and started to get to know Dom on a skiing holiday 20 years ago in France, the two of us were forced to ski the week together... our other friends were away on the blacks (thinking of you Phil!). Since then we've been friends and whenever he passed my way always called in for a beer and a catch-up. Dom always made time for his friends - in fact I'd say his whole life was about friendship and adventure. He was brought up well. He was a man of good old fashioned values. He was thoughtful. He listened. He was kind. He was funny. He was a dignified man of impeccable character. He was a proper gent that everyone warmed to. We could all do with being a bit more like Dom. My heartfelt thoughts and tears are with Dory and her daughter... you could not have been loved more... this man gave everything!
